    <description>&lt;P&gt;I use my phones bluetooth .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I open the square app and turn my bluetooth on and it connects.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Our readers will say that the transaction was successful&amp;nbsp; with the&amp;nbsp; &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":white_heavy_check_mark:"&gt;✅&lt;/span&gt;️ and then when I come back it has the &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":warning:"&gt;⚠️&lt;/span&gt; payment didn't go through.&amp;nbsp; This is happening&amp;nbsp; with both readers.&amp;nbsp; I have been giving&amp;nbsp; product away &amp;amp; not getting paid. I need help ASAP.&amp;nbsp; &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":tired_face:"&gt;😫&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/591441"&gt;@DANNY513&lt;/a&gt; I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. It sounds like maybe you're taking payments in "offline" mode. Do you have cellular or wifi connectivity? Square requires this to complete the processing. Go into your phone app for Square, click on MORE &amp;gt; SETTINGS &amp;gt; CHECKOUT. See if Offline Mode is turned ON. If you want to be sure that a payment will go through for processing later, then turn Offline mode ON...but you risk the processing to be paused until your App can reconnect to the Internet. Your payments you took may still be in process, but it's important to connect back to the Internet within a certain time frame or those payments will be lost.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To prevent your phone App from processing in Offline mode, toggle that setting OFF. So if you DO NOT have Internet connection, the payment should be declined as a clue that something isn't connecting fully to the Square server. See &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/7775-process-offline-payments-faq" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;this post&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; about Offline Payments.
