How can I get the ZebraSymbol DS6707 barcode scanner to work with the Square Terminal

I want to use the ZebraSymbol DS6707 USB connected barcode scanner to scan labels (printed through Square for Retail) to add items to checkout. However when I scan the printed barcodes, the scanner lights up green, but nothing is added to the checkout screen. I've researched through the square help pages and forums, but haven't been able to find anything helpful? Any advice?

Sorry to hear about your experience with the Barcode Scanner.

Have you tried Scanning the *USB Keyboard(HID) barcode located in the Quick Start Guide?

In case you don't have that close here is an image of it.

Hopefully scanning this will make your Terminal Recognize your scanner properly.
