    <description>&lt;P&gt;I use my own iPad with the square app, linked to the square terminal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am curious if I purchased &lt;EM&gt;only&lt;/EM&gt; the square customer display replacement portion of the Square Register, if I can use that with my iPad instead of the square terminal. I'm lookin for a larger customer display/card reader that I can connect to my iPad, without purchasing the entire square register.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alternatively, could I use the square stand as a card reader/customer display connected to my ipad&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

As far as I can tell, neither of those is possible. &amp;nbsp;The customer-facing display for the Register only works with Register, and I don't think you can even purchase it separately from it. &amp;nbsp;At least, I can't find that option in the Square Store. &amp;nbsp;To your alternative, there used to be an option to connect another iPad to the basic Square App for customer display purposes. &amp;nbsp;But, even if that is still available somehow, it did not work with the Stand -- it was just a display, only. &amp;nbsp;Your only choices, really, are a) the setup you have, b) a Square Handheld which is also small format, or c) to purchase and use a Register instead of your current setup.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Unfortunately there is not a workaround for any of the configurations you mentioned. As&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/283181"&gt;@TheRealChipA&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;mentions, if you are looking for a larger screen, the Square Register may be the best option for this situation. Apologies that we don't have any workarounds on this.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How come square doesn’t offer an easy solution for at least the square stand as a customer facing display, you would also make hardware sales on the stand itself instead of no sales to your competitors. I see square can easily make software and hardware so linking two iPads one as a register and another as a customer facing display should be surely simple. The problem with squares current offering is your locked into proprietary outdated hardware that can’t be easily replaced quickly say a quick trip to Walmart to replace an iPad when your business sales count on it that day, and the work environment where a two screen solution works just better, bigger screen for people’s eyes that struggle with the small screens tallying up time trying to read the screen is a possible loss of sales when you have line ups of people waiting to be processed become impatient. And in my case I operate a food truck with a high window/low table that doesn’t work with anything except a hand held display. Who ever is in charge of your hardware/software division is doing a disservice to potential customers and the company where you guys generate profit from sales, who cares about lost hardware sales or do the square stand as a customer facing display unlocked by software.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
