Does anyone has experience with IVR Payments?

Hi,

I'm looking to have an IVR Payment solution to to take the customer credit card information over the phone securely. Does anyone have any experience in it?

Here is what little I know and think would be what you need to think about:

Security: Ensure the IVR system is PCI-DSS compliant to securely handle credit card information, normally this is no problem with square, but if you are not using square as the processor this would be a must.
Integration: Check if it integrates smoothly with your square. I am assuming you would be using a custom developed API to translate the information. A word of caution, any type of integration like this would need to be thoroughly checked against the terms of service and it would be considered a card not present transaction which would have higher fees. The chance of disputes would be much higher.
User Experience: A user-friendly interface is crucial. Test the system thoroughly to ensure it’s easy for customers to navigate.
Support: Choose a provider with reliable customer support for any technical issues. You don't want to be left hanging.

Yes, you are absolutely right and those are the points already in my mind. As of right now all I am looking for is the provider who can fulfill these points. On top of your mind, could you please share any such providers if you are aware of?

@asimarif The closest I know of is this one: https://squareup.com/us/en/app-marketplace/app/soundhound-for-restaurants

They do IVR but they send a link for payment to the customer. I think one thing for square integrations is they will not "tokenize" the transaction so some companies won't work with them.
