Any. Every system you buy from Square can take a Manual Entry.

None. You can setup Square as an app on your current phone or Tablet. You can also use your computer to take virtual payments.

The problem is what are you selling? Will it be a single Item like Taxi Fare which is adjustable? Then have Item Fare and no price. Square will ask you to enter the price then you enter the information of the card in manual entry or virtual terminal.

If you have multiple items you may want Quick buttons to press on a larger screen that the small cell screens. This is all up to you.

When I have call in orders it is sometimes a pain to add some of my items from 40 categories over the phone on an Ipad, but if it is all my candles in one category it makes it easy. Every situation is different. So there is no 1 answer to which is best.
