    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/711002"&gt;@SoccerBooster&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I leave mine Plugged in until I am ready to leave for where I need it.&amp;nbsp; As you mentioned there is no power button so it will keep looking for a device to connect through bluetooth to.&amp;nbsp; The other option is to get a Battery pack that can Charge the Reader at you consession stand.&amp;nbsp; Or you could plug it in a your stand to be always ready.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is what I am referring to as a Battery Pack :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="batterypack.png" style="width: 763px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.squareup.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/49450i9661DFD6F93EF1F9/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="batterypack.png" alt="batterypack.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I fully charge the square reader to get it ready for the next time I need it (we use it for concessions). &amp;nbsp;I pull it out on the day we need it and it's completely dead. &amp;nbsp;I have to charge it for hours. &amp;nbsp;Huge mistake to not put a power button on the device - how do I make the battery stop going dead between charging it and the next time I need it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same. These devices are garbage. And getting a refund is so difficult. I will never buy another product from Square.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
