Always Collect Signatures- Feature Request

I want to request a feature to always collect signatures regardless of card company requirements. I use the signatures as an acceptance of my return policy listed on the receipt. I also would like to set a custom amount that triggers the customer’s having to sign. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Atozmotors thanks for your post. You should be able to turn on signature collection (see below), but I do not think you can have a threshold that would automatically turn it on/off. It's either always on, or always off.

Here's how to manage signature collection on Square:

Enabling/Disabling Signature Collection:

Access Square Dashboard: Go to the Square Dashboard.
Navigate to Device Management: Go to Settings > Device Management.
Select Device: Choose the specific device you want to configure.
Locate Signature and Receipt: Find the "Signature and receipt" section.
Toggle Collect Signatures: Turn the toggle to "on" or "off" to enable or disable signature collection.
Choose Signature Source (if enabled): If you toggle "Collect Signatures" on, you can choose whether to collect signatures from the device screen or a printed receipt.
Save Changes: Click Save to apply the settings.

This doesn't force a signature for every transaction though? I did a 1 cent test and it didn't ask.
