Connect a cash drawer to Square Register POS with NO printer???

I just bought the register. I want an automatic cash drawer but NO printer. I see there are a few cash drawers that work on USB but theyre $$$. Any workaround for that? The printer controlled drawers are cheap.

Hi @mmrogge. Sure, the printer controlled drawers are cheap, but you definitely have to buy a printer to control them. That’s the very reason WHY they are cheap!

So, if you don’t ever see the need for a printer in your operation, you’re better off going with the $229 USB cash drawer. There’s really no way around this, with Square or anyone.
