My Mpop receipt printer is working and showed available in the setting menu but the Cash drawer does not show up as available. This brand new out the box initial setup. thank for any help

@Ray12345 From what I am seeing the mPOP cash drawer is driven by the printer so there will not be a set up in the software. Whenever you print a receipt for cash it will open automatically. I didn't see any set up anywhere for the drawer and I am thinking the drawer is not usb, the usb is for the printer and then the printer drives the drawer like most normal set ups.

My cash drawer is driven by my receipt printer and for my setup and in Square hardware there is no Cash Drawer. But when I open it or close it at the end of day, complete a cash sale, the drawer just opens. I am not sure which Square System you are using but on my Square Stand in the top Right corner you can press the 3 dots next to Add Customer; then press from the drop down menu No Sale or Open Cash Drawer - same button. Not sure if your Checkout screen will have that located in the same area. Great way to test Cash Drawer after power failure.
