thread swift scales in Hardware Setup & Troubleshooting

I currently use the square terminal in my shop and little device when out and about. I'm now looking to diversify. I am going to need to get the square register. I will also need to connect scales. I already have some Adam swift trade approved scales. I'm looking for advice on using these together. I know they are not the scales promoted by Square but the Adam website says they will connect. To be more precise I am moving into having a small refill station in my shop so I need to price things by weight and provide a product label. Anyone any experience of this using Square register and alternative scales?

I don't see anything on their scales that says they connect with Square. we use the Brecknell 6710U with Square stand 2 and they work great. as far as I have seen that is the only scale currently compatible with communicating with Square hardware.

You can still use the scale, it just won't interface and you will have to manually type in the weight onto the item you pick in square. one of my friends does this with 6 scales because he doesn't want to buy 6 new scales.
