How do you create a gift card to be used as a donation for a local cause? Can it be created internally and printed?

You can do them via the POS or online - simply create a 100% discount and apply it!

if you mail it to yourself then you can easily print them off 👍

Word has several templates for gift certificates, or you can just find one you like and copy it. I would recommend you include the words "No cash value" somewhere on the card, just as a precaution. You can make a full page certificate or, as I do, print them three per page on card stock. That gives me a nice size to roll up and put in a coffee mug from my shop.
