How to promote business

Please tell me your favorite social media apps or sites to promote your business other than Facebook. How do you use them and why? I have just got locked out of my facebook and the retrieval they sent didn't work. So I lost months of work on Facebook and don't wish to repeat that looking for other ways to reach my customers. I have an Italian food truck and need a way to let customers know where I will be set up and what specials I am running.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with your Facebook account! Have you checked out Square Marketing? That might be a good way for you to keep in touch with your customers, or even offer specials and discounts.

Instagram by a landslide. It generates far more sales than Facebook. Also Instagram tends to be a slightly younger audience than Facebook, so by using both you can hit a wide demographic. Given you have an Italian food truck (drool) I'd be all about Instagram. Let the pics of your food do the work for you!!!
