I understand the Square has been doing a lot of upgrades on the finance and payment side; however, the option to do a more custom website def needs an upgrade. I want my website to look cooler as opposed to the preset templates. For example removing a header and footer for a better landing page would be great. When will there be an update for this long over due problem?

You’ve hit on one of the most common limitations with Square Online: it’s great for simplicity, but restrictive for advanced customization—especially when it comes to landing page design, removing headers/footers, or building truly custom layouts.

As of now:

✅ You can’t remove headers or footers completely
✅ You can’t freely position elements like in Wix, Shopify, or Webflow
✅ Custom CSS/JS is not supported, even on paid plans.

I'm waiting on updates also, our website is looking a little dated and needs a refresh, but we are limited with what we can do.
