thread If I pay for a subscription in Square Appointments, shouldn't I be able to access a domain in Online Store

I am currently paying the Square Appointment Plus. I only have 1 location so I am not even sure why I am doing that. However I am trying to access the Online domain. It says I have the free domain. However if I am paying the Square Appointments subscription isn't that the same or do I have to pay for an online subscription also?

Hi @lollizdesignz. So I see two questions here. The first is where you mentioned that you aren’t sure why you are paying for Appointments Plus. Besides multi-location support (which you don’t need) there are other features that you might be using that require at least a Plus membership. Here’s a link to the Appointments Pricing guide. If something has a blue check mark in the middle column but NOT the first column, then that’s probably why you decided to go with the Plus plan. Otherwise, it could be that you signed up for a free trial of Plus but never changed it after the trial was over.

To your second question, while Appointments gives you tools to integrate your bookings into your web site, you aren’t required to do this to use Appointments. Some sellers don’t allow online bookings but use Plus for other features. Anyway, Square Online is a separate product from Square Appointments. They work together, but that’s it. So, if you want a custom domain and/or other paid Online features, you also must subscribe to one of those paid tiers.

Best,
