I decided to rebrand. I currently have a square website under a different name. I bought a new domain with a new name but I cannot figure out how to move my website from the old name to the new domain.

@salon_vibes Welcome to the community. Did you buy your new domain through Square or through Godaddy, Google or any other provider? If you bought it through Square you should be able to go to Dashboard/Online/Website/Domain. From there you should see your new domain name.

If you bought it through someone else besides square you can go to the same page, click Connect Domain, then click Use a domain I bought elsewhere. From there you will enter you new domain name and square will transfer it over for you. You will have to do a couple of steps in the Admin section of the company you purchased your domain from.

Go to your domain provider’s DNS settings

2. Add these Square records:

• A record:

@ → 199.34.228.164

• CNAME:

www → your-square-site-name.square.site

3. In your Square Dashboard > Online> Website > Domains > Connect domain, enter your new domain and follow verification steps

4. Once verified, set it as primary domain

5. Save & publish your site
