Questions about Square Online Pricing Plans

I have a domain and I am thinking of using SS as my transaction server. I am new so please explain carefully. If you can send me over to a series of connected videos to watch with all the feature explained that would be great.

I want to have a site that incorporates word press. IF I understand, the plan allows me to build a complete website? Can I use another site and use SS as my transaction server and have it be a seamless transition out of WP and back?

Answers, videos, tutorials and advice would be appreciated. There is a lot to digest and if this is the right way to go I want to set it up before Black Friday.

Hi Nelsonmay,

You may need to provide more details as to your plan. For example - are you currently using Wordpress with your own domain and you want to use Square as your credit card processor ? Or do you want to just use Square and transfer your domain name ? Are you sure that you want to go with Square's $29 plan ? There are different ways to go but, it can get a bit confusing. One option is to stay with Wordpress and go with the WooCommerce plugin. Another option is keep your Wordpress site and start with Square's free website setup for your cart - you can link the two together - this is what we do. Our site shows our work, provides info about us along with contact info and all we did was add a Shop link which takes you to our free Square Site - it's basically seamless from the customer's perspective. There's no domain name transfer necessary. Bottom line we have two sites linked together. Note we don't need any extra features so this setup works great. If you totally want to go with Square, there's nothing wrong with that either however, if you have start date planned - you need to consider setup time. Perhaps others here can offer some suggestions as to any videos and/or guides once they understand exactly what your plan is.
