How can I password protect specific products in my item catalog?

I sell two skincare lines that need to be only sold to current clients. How can I add specific items to a password protected page? Thank you in advance!

@freshskin I am assuming that you are doing this in an online store. The easiest way to do this in my opinion is to set up a second location or a second website and under "site preferences" you can password protect the site. You can link from your main site to the second site and then those items will be behind a password you give to those customers. Having a separate site will be much easier and look pretty seamless on your end.

As far as password protecting items, that would be a feature request to make under "Ideate".

Hello @freshskin !

This is a great question.

We have a feature we introduced some time ago that allows you to hide items from your online store-front, but still be able to sell them.

You simply need to mark the desired items as hidden!

Once an item is marked as hidden, it will not be visible on your ordering page, but as long as a customer has the direct link to the item page, they are still able to purchase the item.

You don't have to password protect hidden items, but you may do so if you prefer, by creating a password protected page.
