Category of New items created in Item Library are not showing up in Square Online

I have bulk uploaded a number of items into Item Library using Import and Modify Item Library. The Items automatically sync over to Square Online but the Item's Category is blank. How to maintain the category information?

Hi there, @cctmiami,

This is happening specifically when moving items to Square Online, is that correct? If so, that is currently working as intended. At this time, categories do not sync over.

Square should ensure this fact is prominently displayed on the Library page. I spent 3-4 hours trying to figure out why categories I created in the item library didn't show up in the site design page.
As it stands now, it sort of defeats the purpose of "streamlining" the item process if we still have to duplicate category creation in two different pages.
