Event Checkout Mode

I am trying to sell tickets to an event, so have created variations under an item (type is event), but when the user clicks the link to checkout, the price is correct, but it goes directly to the final checkout. I want there to be both an 'add to cart' option and a 'final checkout' option, because they might want to buy 2 student tickets and 2 adult tickets which are priced differently. Sorry - I'm new at this!

Hi Hhcafinearts,

There is a learning curve with Square as with any other application. Links are different as they function like a Buy Now Button for one individual item - there's no shopping cart per say as this method skips the shopping cart feature - you click on the link, choose quantity, and checkout (pay) - this is by design. If you need the Shopping Cart feature which sounds like you do, then you need to customers use your Square Website that has the items you want to sell - note, you can send them a link to your site. Perhaps others here can provide more info that would be helpful.
