How do I cancel a promo code?

Our regular customers have found a way to order their food from us (online only) and keep re-using the same promo code over and over. How can I set up for promo code to only be used one time as an incentive and not as an endless discount?

Sorry to hear you're running into this.

To edit a coupon in Square Online:

From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Coupons or Shared Settings > Coupons.
Select Edit Coupon.

You have the option to limit coupon use on a per-customer basis. To limit the number of times a customer can use the coupon, select the Limit per customer toggle and enter a number in the box. For example, entering “1” here will prevent a customer from using the code more than once, even if the coupon is set to unlimited and never expires.

You can also delete the coupon completely in this section and create a new one if you prefer. You can find all of the steps listed in our support center.
