Subscriptions with Third party Delivery

Is there a way to provide local third party delivery (with Uber/Doordash) for subscriptions like CSAs?

At the moment Subscriptions are only for shipping.

Hi @PGG. Currently, there is not. I — and many others — have requested additional fulfillment options for Square Subscriptions. However, this product as we see it now is relatively new so it might be a while before we see that. Subscriptions has evolved over the past year to a feature that is actually usable and that makes sense — which version 1 of Subscriptions did not! I can say that I’m seeing a lot of activity and interest in the product, which is a sign that Square is taking it seriously. For now, though, it’s a waiting game.

On a personal note, I own a soft serve shop. I’d love to offer frozen treat subscriptions that would, of course, need the fulfillment method of pickup. If Square hasn’t provided this by the time I open in the Spring for the 2024 season, I’m considering a third-party subscription app called Submatic. It seems to have what I need, and the pricing is very reasonable. Just a thought for you to look into if you need something right now that integrates with Square.

thanks so much for this info! We sell Microgreens and it would be great to have uber or doordash make these subscription deliveries for us
