How do we turn off or disable item description sync?

When signing up to square we were told item description syncing can be disabled as we have a lot of information on the POS side under item description that we do not want synced at the online site level. This used to be a feature you can disable. What happened to disabling item description syncing how do we do so?

It's possible this feature is no longer available in your account. If that is the case, you should have received an email back in November to alert you of the upcoming change.

I do recommend reaching out to the support team, though, so that a rep can review the account and confirm if the feature is no longer available to you.

Is there a way to hide the item description on square online to not be visible?
