Pre orders for a specific item with payment link

I am trying to set up 1 item from my online bakery as a pre-order with a payment link. I have set my settings on the item as a pre-order with 1 specific date for fulfillment. However each time I go to test my link it keeps giving me the options to select many different dates. How can I get this one item. Not my entire store to only be available on 1 date?

Hi @LAD23, I appreciate your post! Welcome to the Square Community.

Unfortunately payments links do not support pre-orders. It would have to be an item that is on your Square Online site, in order for the pre-order settings to apply.

A workaround is you could always post it on your site and then copy the item page URL to share with your customers, if needed.
