Meta for Business email - Facebook and Instagram ships requiring using their checkout enabled?

I am very confused. I have received a couple of notices from Meta that they are "beginning Apr 24, 2024, we will only continue supporting Facebook and Instagram Shops with checkout enabled."

This sounds like sales will not go through Square at all and you will need to deal with Meta on those sales. Am I right? What happens to Square Facebook shops?

The only thing that will change is you will now get paid from facebook, instead of Square. You will setup your bank routing number just like you did with Square.

Your Square website will still sync with facebook shops, but if you do not switch over to facebook checkout, after April 24 the checkout feature will be unavailable.
