How come there is no option to accept Square gift cards at checkout?

When a customer clicks a buy now button and is sent to checkout, there is no gift card field.

@twinjagI'm wondering if you have gift cards set up as a payment option. Can you check this area in your dashboard?

Or it could be the payment link...did you create a payment link for those items on your website? Or did you insert an item from your library?

I tried everything and still no luck. The buy buttons were created from my item library on my Square dashboard.

I don't think the item library is any issue here, it may be if you're setup to accept as a payment method. The other thing to try if you can test this, is where it says coupon code, try a gift card number in this field. Do you have something you can test this with? I know it's not intuitive, but other posts have mentioned that a gift card number may work in the coupon field.

Entered a gift card into coupon field and got an error message saying not a valid coupon code. There has to be a way for the gift card option to appear at checkout.

I'm just jumping in here to offer some support!

Could you provide more details about the types of items you're selling online and where you're encountering issues with the Square Gift Card not applying to the sale?

The reason I ask is that at this time, Square Gift Cards can be used with electronic and shipped orders only. They can’t be redeemed for pickup orders at the moment.

The other thing to note, is that if you are using a third-party eCommerce integration partner, and you’re selling physical Square gift cards, please check with the integration partner to ensure they are redeemable. Although Square is the payment processor, the partner may not always support external gift card redemption from Square.

We'll keep a lookout for your response here.
