How can I hide my Inventory without deleting?

Hello there. Thanks for taking the time to read my inquiry.

I am restructuring my business and need to hide, but keep all data, all active inventory. I see how I can do this with a small portion of my inventory, but would like to be able to just click a function to do this one time for my entire inventory. is this possible? thank you

@ccornermi So you basically want to hide your website until you finish restructuring? I have 2 options that might work for you.

1. Password protect your website

Go to your Square Dashboard → Online → Website → Site Preferences (or Settings → General).
Look for Password protect
Toggle it on and set a password
When someone goes to your website they will be prompted to enter a password.

2.Unpublish your site.

Go to your Square Dashboard → Online → Website → Site Preferences (or Settings → General).
Scroll down to unpublish site and confirm.
Your site will display a Unavailable message to anyone visiting.

If you unpublish your Square Online site, all your data stays intact.

• Inventory: All items, descriptions, images, prices, and variations remain in your Square account.

• Orders & Customer Info: Nothing is deleted from your dashboard.

• Design: Your site layout, pages, and settings will be exactly the same when you republish.

• Domain: Your domain settings stay connected unless you intentionally disconnect them.

The only thing that changes is that customers won’t be able to access your website until you click Publish again.

If you’re restructuring and just need it offline temporarily, unpublishing is completely safe.

Hopefully one of these options will help.
