Is it possible to use Self-serve ordering in retail?

I am renting out shelf space in a venue, and they asked that we provide QR codes for customers to pay (and venue will help with check out).

Am I able to use the self- serve QR code for this? I already have a short list of items that I am setting up in the website, but it looks like self-serve ordering is specifically geared towards restaurants. Any advice?

The self serve QR codes only work with the "Order Online" template on the online store. If you're using the "Shop Now" template--as most retail ventures do--you'll have to get a little creative.

You can always have a QR code for your website that isn't Self Serve. You can have the online store generate one for you at

Dashboard -> Online -> Website -> Site Preferences -> Site QR code

that way you don't have to worry as much about the self serve ordering but still meet the venue's request.
