Can I Use Square in Saudi Arabia as a Student to Accept Payments and Withdraw to My Bank?

Hello everyone,

My name is Ahmed. I am a 20-year-old university student from Egypt, currently living in Saudi Arabia with a valid residency permit. I’m planning to start a small online business where I sell website designs and digital services.

I have a few questions about using Square in my situation:

Can I create a Square account and use it in Saudi Arabia to accept online payments?
Can I send invoice links or payment links to my clients so they can pay me online?
Since I am a student and just starting out, I do not yet have a business registration or tax ID. Is there a way to open an account without these requirements?
I already have bank accounts in Saudi Arabia — would I be able to withdraw my money directly to them if I use Square?

I would really appreciate guidance from anyone with experience or official insight. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey @Akkero101, thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in Square. I just wanted to let you know that at this time, Square online payments aren’t available in Saudi Arabia. You can still accept cash or other forms of payment. I’m happy to help with anything else you might need, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
