Is it possible to set up custom pricing for a customer?

I have a customer who purchases a lot of a certain product. Is it possible to set up this customer with custom pricing without using the % discount? I want to give them better pricing on one item and not discount the entire order.

I think the only way you can do that is via invoicing to discount that particular item without affecting the other items OR create a coupon code for the one item that is specific to that customer- both can be done.

If there is a mix within the order, the easiest way I have found to manage the different pricing levels in one order is to manually invoice at the desired pricing rate for the items.
