Subscriptions on website

So i am trying to add subscription, read alot here but nothing helps 100%

first it just creates a button, instead of how it looks when you "add and item"

is there a way to fix that

also when adding a subscription and you want yearly with a % discount, it just shows the subscription with the discount for the original price.

for example. if i have a sub for 24.99/mo and give a 20% discount instead of showing 219.91 it shows 27.99, that doesn't really work...
