How to remove a discount code from showing on the item

So we set an automatic discount then deleted it to use a coupon for online purchases. When we created the automatic discount and applied it to 10 items, it added the discount name/code to the item picture on our featured items page. When we deleted the code from discounts the code still shows on the specific items on the featured menu. I can't figure out where to remove the code.

I have tried removing the item from the featured menu, publishing the page and then adding the item back, it just pulls the code and displays it.

We also don't have the upgrade for badges, so I'm at a loss.

This same thing is happening to me Noone can fix it I've talked to 3 ppl at square...it's definitely a glitch I NEED HELP!

I am having this issue also. Some help articles have said that you can remove these types of badges, but that is not an option under Site Preferences. You can only select the type of badge, but not having a badge is not in the drop down.

I am also having this issue. I was updating all my coupon codes yesterday and now all my items have the code displayed. Mind you this code is no longer valid and is expired in my coupon history. It just won't go away. I guess maybe the only thing I can try is to make the badge the same color as My background so it kind of hides it?

Sorry to ask after all these months, but was this ever resolved for you? I posted separately below that I'm having the same issue now. I did manage the workaround for the badges - I first tried turning off discount badges wherever possible, but couldn't find where to edit the badges that show up with items in the search results. I ended up having to change the badge to "text" and make the color the same as the background to blend in with the website.

I was told today that the "widget" getting stuck under the price of each item is a known issue for many users. Apparently, this bug fix has been under development by engineering for over a week now.

I am experiencing this issue now, too. I created a coupon but it was not what I wanted. I deactivated the coupon but for some reason there is still a badge on the item that I cannot get rid of. I'm not even sure why there would be a badge there in the first place.

The Square system in general is very unpleasant to work with and especially so because edits do not take effect immediately. How do people use this service?
