      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="2"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The title of this thread has been edited from the original:&amp;nbsp;How do I temporarily turn off my store and all items to prevent customers ordering while on holiday.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a number of online store items that customers order and have either pickup or home delivery. How do switch all ordering off for a couple of weeks while I take a break but still have my website up? I want people to continue viewing the products, just not able to purchase until I return. I can post a popup to let them know I am cannot prepare orders until I am back.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;To temporarily disable online ordering on your Square Online site while keeping your products visible, follow these steps:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Sign in to your online &lt;STRONG&gt;Square&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;Dashboard&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Navigate to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Sales Channels&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Online&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Shared Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Checkout&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Toggle&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;off&lt;/STRONG&gt; the option:&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Accept Online Orders&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;With online ordering turned off, your items will remain visible on your site, but customers won't be able to make purchases.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you be more specific?&amp;nbsp; If the 'don't sell' switch is flipped and you save, what other settings need to be checked or actions need to be done?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there an extra step needed like, re-publishing the web site after flipping the switch? Is there another global setting (like item visibility but broader) on the main Square side that needs to also be switched?&amp;nbsp; I tried refreshing the browser and clearing the cookies.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Seems like the online app has a hard enough time synching with the mother ship in general.&amp;nbsp; Never had this much trouble in Shopify...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
