Can no longer automatically hide Out Of Stock items?

I used to be able to toggle on/off "Display Out of Stock Items on Site" under Item Preferences. Now that the catalog convergence has occurred this option has been eliminated. It is a major nuisance and time suck to have to manually hide items as we sell out of them. Please bring back this feature ASAP or let me know where it is now hidden! Thank you...

Interesting! My website still has that option, although it is now hidden behind an Edit button on the right side of the screen for some reason.

If it's not working, I don't think it is intentional. I'd recommend contacting support so they can dig into the back end of the website to see what went wrong.

Seems this has been moved in to the site editor itself. I found it by doing the following steps:
1. Open Site Editor

2. Navigate to edit the "Shop All" page

3. on the page itself I clicked on one of the "Low Stock" or "Out of Stock" labels which opened up a content editing view on the left like this where I could uncheck sale, low stock, out of stock, etc. You can also get here by Going Item List > Content > Badges:
