Why is the option to add events to the website not an option?

There should be a button to add events not just create an event, because of this I am unable to add my event to my website. THIS DOESNT MAKE AN SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i choose create an event it just brings me to the items page.... that isnt helpful. How am I supposed to add an event???? The event has already been created so why is the option to add event not on the online editing page? I have seen it before and now it is gone. It only shows up if there was already an event posted on the Online Events page, well I archived that event because it has passed and now it wont let me add a new event.

I'm having the same issue. I've been able to add events in the past, but when I went to try today I am getting the option to "Create Event" with the message of "Looks like you don't have any events in your store. Create an event to feature on this page." I made sure that the event was marked as visible as well as set to be sold online. I'm hoping its just a bug that can be fixed quickly!

I cannot add an event either to my website. It used to be easy. Used to create event and it went to a list that you selected which events you what to show/post. Now, no list, you create an event and it shows up on your items list and is unusable. How can I post my events I'm attending ???
