Consistent sale price between Square Online and Square POS App

Can a sale price function be added to Square POS so it syncs with the sale price in Square Online? I use the Square Terminal for my brick and mortar shop and Square Online for my web sales. If I put an item on sale on my web site, I can set the original and sale prices in Square Online but the sale price does not transfer to the Square POS app or the Square Terminal. As a result, its causing issues at checkout in-store. Can Square add this function to the Point of Sale?

What you can do is an an automated Discount for that item for a specific time period so that in-person will result in the same sale price as online. I've done this before.

Go to Items
-> Discounts
-> Create a Discount
-> toggle on Automatic Discount
-> I used by "Item or Category"
-> Add the item(s)
-> Set the Date Range
