How do I print a packing slip for pickup orders?

I find that I am only able to print true packing slips for online orders who chose shipping. When I go to orders that are marked as store pickup, I am not able to print a packing slip. The only available options are a receipt which isn't the same format as the packing slip. Any thoughts?

I believe this is working as intended, as packing slips are used for orders that you would normally be shipping. I'm not aware of any workarounds to create a packing slip for pick up orders, but I can double-check this.

Could you also let me know which pieces of information are missing from the receipt that you'd like to include?

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

So I do not have a storefront. I make items at my home and mostly ship them out however there are times where it’s local pick up. I would like something very similar to the packing slip to put with the items once they are picked up. I am not against the receipt however due to the sizing of the receipt I can’t get it to print correctly on regular paper.

PLEASE give us the option to print a packing slip for pick-up orders as well as shipped orders. The customer gets a receipt when they place the order, I need a packing slip to put with the order when I fill it regardless of a shipped order or a pick up order...I don't need the entire detailed receipt.

100% this. Because the receipt includes the full "description" field, it makes the reciept for 1 purchased item extend to 2 8.5 x 11" pages. This is just way too big and not feasible. Packing slips are a better option for those of us who run local deliveries or pickup orders.
