How to Change the Theme for Square Online Store?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "I CAN'T CHANGE THE THEME"

I signed up for the free site and after I got done creating it, I upgraded to PLUS to be able to change the theme, but I cant seem to figure out where to change it at. There is a place to CHANGE SITE DESIGN and then CHANGE SITE STYLE but that just takes me to the fonts and colors. There are no premade themes available. AM I MISSING SOMETHING? HELP!!

Change your site style

Log in to your Square Dashboard and navigate to Online.
Click Website > Edit Site.
Click Site design from the editing panel.
Select Change site style.
Browse the available preset styles and choose one that you like.
Click Apply site style to see the changes.

I'm struggling with the same problem. It seems at some point in 2025, Square introduced a simplified online ordering experience, which is a single page. There does not seem to be a way to switch back from single ordering to multi-page. This is quite frustrating as it means you have very little control over the styling and ordering experience, and you cannot use Combo Items, as the documentation states it excludes the "new ordering page launched in May 2025".

I created a new account, and still have the ability to create a multi-site there, powered by Weebly. However, I don't want to use a new account; I already have everything set up the way I want it to (for the most part) in my current account and am already processing payments.

Square, please look into this and give us a way to revert back to the Weebly experience, so those who want to have more control. can have more control.

Hello @str8loball and @mgbobatoons - Thanks for reaching out to the Square Community with your question about changing the template for your Square Online Site. I believe the default template is now based on your business type when you sign up for Square Online (restaurant, retail, etc.). You can also preview and select from a list of themes here.

From the Editor, if you click the down arrow next to Home, it will expand the navigation menu.

From here, you'll see either "Online Menu" or "Shop All". Click the three dots next to this, and you'll see an option to "Switch Page Type".

Then, you can select either of these two options.

You can also click the + icon next to Home to add any additional sections, pages, or item pages you may need.

So you can't change a theme on square once you set your website up, that's what you're saying cuz editing site styles has nothing to do with the theme

I am trying to do the same thing. I selected a theme but once I started building my pages, I'd like to switch it to something else. I can't find a way to do it. It looks like once you select a theme, you're stuck with it.
