Sale Price displays as range

Hello,

When I add a "sale price" to an item with ONE variation, it still lists the sale price as a "range". Previously, using Weebly rather than Square Online, it would just display the sale price and the original price. Any way to fix this? I think the "range" is confusing because it leads the customer to think there are multiple variations in price, but there is just one price - the sale price.

This is what it looks like now:

Easiest way to fix it is to set it as a limited time discount. So you create the discount in your dashboard. Set the discount amount so that it comes out to your sale price and set it to automatically end on the day after your sale ends. The other way is to go into your item and change the price to your sale price. Have to remember to go back in and adjust it to your regular price manually though if you do it that way

Hi There , wondering if you managed to fix your problem ?

All our sites have same issue , technical support dont seem to have any urgency to fix !

We sell all our items on a sale price and we must be able to see the original price (rrp,msrp)

Example is previously price would be displayed as ~~£499~~ £399 , but now it is being displayed as ~~£499~~ £399-£499 , which actually makes no sense. This is happening on every product that has a sale price. No of our products have variations or options. This price layout is displayed on category pages and product pages.

The Easy fixes commented are no practical for our business. These changes seemed to occur on our website over last few weeks. We run 3 websites from our squareup account and all have same issue !

We're having this same issue. It's really frustrating because it's impacting our online sales. No other e-commerce platform seems to have this issue!

Our website has had this issue for MONTHS and Square has done absolutely nothing to fix the issue. I keep getting told Engineering is reviewing the problem. I contacted support 10/08 and 12/07 and neither have been completed. Shopify is looking real good lately. I have been using square for my business for 9 years and they have only went backwards.

Same here. I've tried to talk to support, but they keep saying they don't understand the issue – we go round and round in circles, I think I'm just receiving an automated response.
