Square Reader availability in Ireland

Hi Guys,

I was wondering can I order a square card reader 2nd generation and will it work in the Republic of Ireland? Cause I’m trying to order it from Currys.ie and they are saying that it won’t work in Ireland? Can someone on the community please help me with this?

I can confirm that the Square Reader 2d Generation does function in Ireland. I just checked Currys website and was able to see the error. Thanks for flagging this ! I'll pass it on to the relevant team, so it can be edited.

Note that you can also purchase the Reader from the Square Shop.
