thread How secure are readers against identity theft? in Online Store

I had a customer call saying that after she swiped her card with us, someone used her card number at a Walmart on the other side of the state. We have brand new readers that we only started using less than 2 weeks ago and only 2 trustworthy people are using them. If it was swiped at a physical location, that probably has nothing to do with us, right? Hopefully just coincidence? I didn't know how common identity theft was with square readers.
