    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks. I got talked out of the Satellite option from the Sat sales rep. If somehting went wrong and I downloaded a bit, it would cost a fortune.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I.e. $5 1 Mb, so 1 Gb is $5000&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also it's not just the speed, it's the latency of the Sat network, which may mean that Square won't work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In Australia there is no offline mode, so I can't process cards where there is no internet connection.. I have a mobile food van and work in a location with no mobile phone coverage.&amp;nbsp;It seems like the only solution is to use a satellite device, but I need to know the Square specs to see if the satellite network is good enough. I.e. I need to know the minimun transmission speed, the packet size, etc. I have alrady found a thread&amp;nbsp;saying that the data used for each transaction is around 10kb.&lt;BR /&gt;Or can I get the offline mode turned on?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think it should be a problem, I have crappy 1.5Mb DSL that most of the time speed tests at half that or less and I run 2-5 Square devices thru it all day long with up to 500 transactions in a day.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
