    <description>&lt;P&gt;My card reader will process a Debit "Tap" payment up to $100. If I try to process another Debit Tap from the same card for a different amount the reader will not accept the 2nd payment.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Additionally I am having issues with the reader not accepting Debit payments when inserted in the reader. I get the message "&lt;SPAN&gt;Please try inserting again, chip could not be read,”.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I have tried pulling the card out and then reinserting at least 2-3 more times with no success. This has happened on at least 4 debit card transactions this week alone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In order to even get the reader to work properly I had to install, uninstall and then reinstall the app 3 times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have read the suggestions recommended to previous owners on this site. I will remove the reader from the dock and see if that helps with the next debit transaction I try to process.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey &lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/167123"&gt;@rocam3202&lt;/a&gt; - If the cards are Interac debit cards, they can only be accepted via tap for up to $100. The $100 payment limit for Interac cards is a security measure designed to protect your customers in case their cards are lost or stolen. We ask that you&amp;nbsp;don’t use Split Tender to break up a transaction over a single card to avoid the $100 limit.&lt;/P&gt;
