Instagram: Book appointment button stopped showing

I used to have the book button on my Instagram page, but one day it simply disappeared! When I follow the steps to try to add it back on, I am able to select Appointments by Square, but then receive an error message stating I cannot use the feature because it requires a new Facebook business manager account.....but I already have one...and as mentioned before, the book button used to work for my page. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions what to do?

Hi @MarketHair,

This is currently a known issue our Appointments engineering is working on with Instagram.

There's unfortunately no update to give but it's in progress at this time. I'd recommend reaching out to Instagram for now to see if they can assist further or have tips to get it working from their end.

I eventually got it resolved, but unfortunately I didn't get any help through Facebook. I uninstalled and reinstalled insta, plus checked all my settings but nothing worked. To be honest I just kept checking back and one day it eventually worked. They must have fixed the bug. Sorry, that's not much help, maybe you'll have better luck contacting Facebook than I did!
