thread e-Commerce Platforms in Online Store

We're a small art & history museum in Canada and we're in the process of redeveloping our website. We'll be choosing a new e-commerce platform and we're debating between Woo Commerce and Shopify, but Shopify doesn't work with Square, and we currently use Square for in-house purchases.

Woo Commerce charges 2.9 % +$.30 per transaction, and in house, so does Square. If we choose to go with Woo Commerce and Square, will our transaction fees be 2.9 % +$.30 X 2? (One for Woo and one for Square). I am REALLY new to this so I hope this isn't a stupid question?

Also, how easy is WooCommerce to adapt to?
