Canada post acc doesnt offer the business discount on Sq.

I linked my CP account to Square and when it shows me the rates, they are more expensive than when I type all the info in on the CP website? Why is this? I thought it was meant to be linked?

How much of a discrepancy do you see? When purchasing a label directly through Canada Post, the taxes are not added until the last checkout screen. Shippo, our third party shipping integration, includes the taxes in the rates that you see when creating and purchasing the label through your Square account.

So my price is $17.49 + tax and the Shippo is $22.

I'm not sure what the tax rate is for shipping labels in Canada, but that does sound like it could be the discrepancy you are seeing. If the Shippo rate is $22, that would be the total cost of rate + tax.

If you think the price still looks off, I recommend reaching out to the support teams so a rep can take a closer look.

I did the same thing and found a five dollar difference that's a lot when it comes to making a sale.

Does the Canada Post page break down the cost so that you can see the applied tax? I'm not familiar with the tax rate, but that does seem high.

Did you also make sure to use the exact same box measurements and weight?

Hello Robertson1 , I have problems integrating Canada Post (CP) into Square via shippo. I wonder if you ship via CP and how you make it work.

Right now I have to manually type every address into Shippo as it not longer pulls orderes from square. And creating lables directly through Square wont give me rates for CP.

Any ideas would help

I recommend reaching out to Shippo, so they can confirm that the integration with Square is working as intended. If they say it is then the next step would be to reach out to our E-commerce support, so they can look into why rates aren't pulling into your Square Online site.

Square and Shippo are aware of an issue, so no help from them right now. I just need a work around for the holiday season!
