We received an eMail offer to get a free "Square Reader for contactless and chip payments", promo with interac but no promo code. We have a Square account and have the mag strip reader. We are in Canada.

I have the same email. Offer for a free chip and pin reader from SQuare and Interac ... says to use the promo code in the email but there is no promo code. Looks like someone in marketing has fouled up the promotion.

Funny thing is that there is no one to talk to at square to report their error and no way to send a communication either as everything involves a bot answering nonsense on the chat window. Even the send message on their facebook page is locked down.

I just talked to someone live. They are aware of the situation and are suppose to comeback qith a new promo email with the code.

I contacted support on Monday, and received the following reply today.

"Thank you so much for your patience while we got to the bottom of this promo issue. It looks like this email was sent in error and we do not have that promotion available. Apologies for all of the confusion and delay on getting an answer."

Same here. This is the email title: "Get your free Square Reader for contactless and chip payments today, courtesy of Interac"

No code. No one to talk with. Nothing.

Very frustrating, and no something you'd expect from a company like Square. Hope they find a REAL solution, not onlly "Sorry".
