I cannot get Square to charge taxes on my items.

I am trying to create links for people to checkout and pay for my items. The tax is activated and set correctly, my address is put into the address field, and taxes won't update to charge.

Through the virtual terminal, the taxes do get added. I have tried toggling settings etc. and nothing changes it.

To be specific, the tax is not being applied to items that I'm checking out with through the custom checkout links in the item library.

I've called support and spent two hours talking to them with no solution presented.

I would like to take a look at this for you. When you have a moment can you share the checkout link you are trying to make work? Also if you can share an address example it will make it easier for me to troubleshoot.

Hey there @aulait

I went ahead and escalated this to our Advance Support team for them to take a look at it. They pointed out that this item is configured as shipping and shipping isn't currently set up as a fulfillment on your Square Online Dashboard.

Once that has been taken care of, would you care to test if the problem persists?
