&lt;P&gt;Sales tax is automatically applied when I do an in person sale, but does not auto apply when an&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;online order is completed?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/700463"&gt;@TheDavidLuther&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check with your accountant to see if this is required by you to collect online sales tax.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For me in my state:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If I sell in store I collect Sales Tax&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If I sell online to an address inside my state I collect Sales Tax&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If I sell online OUT of state I do NOT collect Sales tax&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;So check to see if you need to collect sales tax on the sales you made online.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Next check your online setting to see if you have that enabled to collect Online sales tax.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is a Video for setting taxes for Online :&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO69IAO4H18" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;online taxes&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
