Cannot get rid of shipping on square payment links

Hello I am trying to set up a square payment link for pick up only. I have set all defaults to pick up in all places, made sure my pick locations are correct and still the shipping option shows up. I have it working for another site I manage and the settings all look the same, I cannot figure it out.

When I tested the link myself, pick up wasn't even on there and I completed the whole transaction with shipping only despite all pick-up options being selected.

Hello @thejubilee 👋

Did you by chance select the "Sell an item" option for your payment link?

Shipping is available by default for all “Sell an item” links. If you choose to enable both Shipping and Pickup, your customer will be able to choose how they’d like to receive their items.

Disabling this option is not possible at this time.

Yes, the item is Sell An Item. We cannot ship, so I don't want to pick both options. I do have another organization where there is pick up and no shipping option, without an issue. I am unclear as to why that one works and this one doesn't.

Although now that I see that typed out I notice that the, first one (that is the way I want it is a square checkout and the other is a square link.) I can't remember how I did that lol Any ideas?

I would like to help!

On your Dashboard, go to Item Library > Settings > Payment Links > Settings > General > Fulfillment > Toggle off Shipping.

If you are still having issues, let us know!

I appreciate your patience @thejubilee!

Our team confirmed only US payment links currently support pickup. Shipping would be the only physical fulfillment available on the payment links for items. If you wish to sell an item for pickup, you could always set up a free Square Online site and get the item page link to send directly to customers.

On your Dashboard, go to Item Library > Settings > Payment Links > Settings > General >

You cannot shut off the Fulfillment - Shipping.

But you can make the shipping rate 0.00

when i test it no longer shows the words shipping and does not charge a shipping fee finally.

sometimes I really dislike Square.

Thank you so very much this totally helped!!!! I wasn't able to toggle off, but I was able to change price to ZERO, not to charge shipping as it is pick up only.
