Is it worth the extra fees that a merchant pays with afterpay....any positive experiences using afterpay?

The fees are a lot. I had to turn it off, as the margins I make on some of my items, it would mean me losing money. I could turn it back on for some merch, but I wish I could make it conditional, ie spend over a $100 and they can use it, as under $50 I'd be close to losing money. I think it depends on your markup.

A sale is a sale, If your margin can handle it I would use it. I have it available i think for orders over $99, and its a guaranteed payment

Interesting, I will have to look into the having a limit thing, it could be useful for my merch line! Except then I need to factor that into my dropshipping which is so hit and miss with postage.

I think people are using it as an alternative to paypal, I only seem to use it on orders being shipped to new customers. *shrug* not really sure but its a 1 in 100+ orders not a 1 in 5 or anything for me
